creatively, something stimulating to the eyes and mind. Something that makes you think rather than something that is there just for thrills. Like slasher movies, they are there for the pure gross feeling you get and there is nothing stimulating about it. I guess something that can have a different meaning/feeling to each person that views or listens to it.
